Stromme Microfinance East Africa today unveils it’s new web presence. The break away from the Stromme Foundation East Africa website is a reflection of our continued strategic growth and positions us to serve East Africa and partner institutions better.
The new website gives an identity to the organization and expounds on our distinctive role in East Africa.
The website is going to be a platform for people and Microfinance institutions to know more about who are and what we do. We are expecting more partnerships on both the funding and implementation side – Harriet Mulyanti, CEO of Stromme Microfinance East Africa
The website features four main sections;
- Organization – a top to down summary of our mission, vision, operations and cooperate governance.
- Loans and Services – a categorisation of the different loans and financial services that Stromme Microfinance East Africa offers.
- Partners – groups our different partners into funding, micro-finance institutions, networks and collaboration. It’s a growing archive of the different partners that help Stromme Microfinance East Africa achieve it’s strategic objectives.
- Impact Stories – highlights testimonies of East Africans who are beneficiaries from our partnerships with different regional micro-finance institutions.
Designed by Addmaya, a Ugandan Design House, the website features a modern layout with immersive photography and bold typography. The website is standards compliant enabling the experience to scale gracefully on mobile devices.
The website is very interactive and easy to use. It clearly communicates to the distinct market we want to reach and identifies us as a legal company. It is also easy to navigate through – Doreen Muhereza, Communications Officer
Besides relating the role of the organization in the region, the website site also features statistics and a resource centre for all publications and updates from the organization.
